About The Paleo Diet
The Paleo Diet is how humans ate for nearly 2 million years to stay naturally healthy and strong.
It’s really pretty straightforward:
Before agriculture was invented about 12,000 years ago, humans simply ate what they could find, fish, or hunt in nature. That includes plenty of veggies and fruits, fresh meats and seafood, some nuts and seeds.
It excludes all foods developed recently through farming; grains, dairy, beans and legumes, plus all the highly processed foods invented in just the last century.
Because we evolved eating the natural foods we could find, our bodies naturally prefer these foods. All those other modern foods and food-like products really aren’t human friendly, which is why so many people struggle with their weight, heart disease, diabetes, auto-immune, and chronic inflammatory conditions.
Choosing Paleo-friendly foods, even when you’re not adhering to the letter, does several big things:
There are so many health benefits! And a healthy body can lead to a high-performing body and mind.
